Alice with Leslie O'Leary

Teacher: Leslie O’Leary. (Level 3 – Intermediate/Advanced) “And what is the use of a book,” thought Alice, “without pictures or conversation?” And what is a workshop without being together with conversation and inspiration! Besides the brave heroine and magical world, there are many life lessons to be learned from Alice and this legendary tale. Join me in creating your own Alice. I will bring to you many new and fun techniques such as armature, a new concept on creating eyes, a new way of doing appliques, unusual item to use for costuming! We will create this legendary character in a free-standing doll form, 22" from bunny ear tips to her heels. There will be a very detailed lesson sent ahead for you to do your pre-work! Together we will explore what will make your doll extra special. Included in the pattern/instruction fee are special appliques of teacups, roses, and pocket watches.
