Teacher: Patti Culea. (Level 2) Visiting us from her new home in Texas, Patti Culea is back with her beautiful 20-inch all cloth mermaid with lots of embellishments and loads of fun. Techniques taught in this class are face drawing, sculpting and coloring; machine and hand embroidery, working with water soluble stabilizer to create whimsical flukes and her tail; simple beadwork; using heat to curl organza; and working with mohair or Tibetan lamb for hair. Oceane has a lot of sparkly things on her body. All really easy to do and yet they look like you spent days making them. Come prepared to have fun and learn a lot about mermaid tales! Kit Fee: $10.00, paid to teacher in class. A supply list will be emailed.
