Wool Applique and Embroidery Blocks-of-the-Month with Mama Lohde

Teacher: Hanne Lohde. (Level 2) Attention Appliquers everywhere.... This is a great opportunity to come and work directly with the designer and teacher, Hanne Lohde, on your own Block of the Month Wall Quilt – “In the Countryside”, “Bubbles” or brand new "Ellie Bellie", coming May of 2023. This is a class for you, if you are an intermediate to experienced stitcher that wants to refine and extend your range of stitches. Students will learn wool hand appliqué, embroidery and embellishment and you will get to work with a big variety of hand-dyed silk, cotton threads and beautiful Shimmer Floss as well. Each month you will receive a kit which will include hand-dyed wool, embellishment threads in cotton, silk or other fibers as well as the pattern, instruction and story. In addition to the monthly kits, you will need various colors of cotton/wool threads for appliqueing, available at Piecemakers. More details will be given in the supply list.
