Zoom Mini Wool Applique Calendar Quilt Blocks

Teacher: Stacey Murren. (All Levels) Create in the comfort of your home with this on-line class via Zoom. If you have a computer, tablet, or smartphone you too can join this class from anywhere. Don’t worry if you need help, Stacey will be available prior to the class and will give you simple instructions on how to connect and will be also available by cell phone three days prior to the start of the class. Create twelve seasonal nine-inch miniature wall quilt blocks, one for each month, and sew for a full year of easy wool applique blocks to decorate your home. Learn to use basic embroidery stitches to enhance each piece, and add sequins, beads, or yarn for further embellishments. Transferring appliqué designs is a snap with a quick and easy method using freezer paper. Also learn a quick needle turn method for beginners. Classes will be taught in three-month increments with two days of instruction per monthly project. Three months' pattern designs will be provided upon sign up, and final instructions for finishing and hanging will be taught in the last class period. These mini quilts are perfect as a travel project. A supply list will be emailed.
